Big big tunes for you once again this afternoon... revell in them!

Jack Splash - I Could Have Loved You (Sinden Remix)
Currently recieving much love on the radio waves and from DJs the world over is the new remix from Sinden, which takes on a new UK Funky/Synth-Pop element to his 'World-Music' sound. I've always been a fan of Sinden's vocal work in his remixes and the percussion really works well in this one... a sure dancefloor banger!

The Big Pink – Dominos (Switch Remix)
I've been a big fan of the original for quite some time now... it's sad but rare that I get excited about a new band with Florence & The Machine and these guys being the stand outs for me this year. Switch obviously can do no wrong in my eyes. The arrangement could be a little better, but on the whole not a bad effort squire.

The Beatles - Good Vibrations (Stanton Warriors Remix)
Initially intended as a DJ tool for their festival performances during the summer, this glitchy bass-bomb was conceived on a laptop on hte road by the duo to use as an opener to their set following the mighty Deadmau5. The idea was to try and keep the crowd for as long as possible... they really don't need to try!

Now I'm not usually the one for blogging tunes that intend to be released, but this has been legally passed to other blogs, so I'm going to make an exception for another fine remix from the one and only Style of Eye that I shall be seeing for the first time @ Ministry of Sound on Saturday! Big stuff!!!

I've been searching for this track for quite a while now... and thanks to superb fellow music blog Funkism... I've been treated to it finally! No there are no renditions of a said "motherfucker", but simply quality tech-house incased in a case of pure wow-bass. Turn this up loud!

Bonus Track:
Chemical Brothers – Saturated (WoW It’s The L.A. Boxers Remix)
My favourite remix of the week comes from the L.A. Boxers... who funnily enough hail from Los Angeles... original I know. Don't let that fool you though as this is the best 'rework' I've heard in quite a while. Now, it's not that different from the original, but to alter the original would be a crime of the greatest magnitude... so just sit back and appreciate it's brilliance!

Who's on the rave this weekend! Yeh BOIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII!
I really need to think about posting an entry on this blog when I'm not drunk, however, you dudes need some rave in your lives and I am here to sort you out before the week is truly upon us! Let's get ready to skank!

Now I enlightened you with this absolute banger of a track just a few days ago, but there have been some serious developments since then. Mr. Dirty D himself was very kind to comment on the post in which his directed us all to a 320k version of the track, which has subsequently gone on to be broadcast for the very first time on the airwaves, on Kissy Sell Out's Radio 1 show last week.
Taking the best parts of each track, D, has managed to keep things fresh whilst still keeping the party going with this brilliant mash-up. Get onto this asap!

When I heard that a Dubstep remix of this track existed, I literally started foaming at the mouth with excitement and rightly so! Serious Dubstep remix of Proxy's huge tune from last year... Caspa's been rinsing this recently, and rightly so, its an absolute barnstormer of a tune.
Probably one of the most creative basslines I've heard all year, download link available from the page.

Currently getting played to death by everyone whos anyone right now.
There seems to have been a huge surge in tunes of late with this sort of sound... I'm thinking Pon De Floor and Knuckles huge remix of Blake as definiate similarities. Almost wobbled basslines with a huge ravey emphasis on high pitched whines. Kind of like a fox yelping, but without the annoyingness of it. If that makes any sense to you whatsoever. Also check out this guys MySpace... some seriously sick material from such a young producer!

I was directed to this through the wonderous Erol Alkan forum, from a very nice chap indeed!
He's quite new to producing but everything I've heard from him so far via the forum has really impressed me, and this is a perfect example of his unique sound. Probably one of the best remixes of Mars that I've heard, can't wait to play out that bassline :D

Rusko's bass thumping monster of a glitchy dub remix was finally let loose via download services today, with a 12" release coming along with Sub Focus' DnB take on August 31st. Please head over to Rusko's Beatport page and support him in the best way possible! His newest tune Rock Bottom with Caspa was also released last week :D

Now... I'm not sure when a new post is going to get to you at the current time... I'm uploading this blog outside a fucking Starbucks on my wireless, because some dick in the South East of England decided it would be a fucking great idea to cut through an underground electrical cable on a Monday morning... and EDF Energy has warned that it may take them up to 48 hours to fix the problem, leaving the entire of North Kent without any fucking power. Anyway, rant over!
New kind of post here that I will be maintaining every Monday afternoon giving out five free new tunes that I'm feeling or hit my inbox that you need to know about! Let's get straight to it!

Major Lazer - Pon De Floor (R!M!E Remix)
Got an absolute treat for you here in the shape of Sydney based Producer/DJ R!M!E. For those of you with a perfect memory, you'll remember we blogged about him in our very first artist feature at SB. It's always nice when an artist remembers the little things, and as a small appreciation for our support in the past he's be nice enough to hook us up with his newest remix of Switch & Diplo's latest banger, which has been tearing up the clubs in the past couple of months.
This makeover has his unquestionable touch in places, a stripped down, cut up fucked up boomshine of a banger! If you're a DJ, this mix will certainly add that little bit of diversity in your sets, cutting in and out of the original for example. Also please headover to his MySpace and check out three other new tunes... Journey and Gangsta are right up my street!

Santigold - L.E.S Artistes (Zodiac Cartel Remix)
Next up is Zodiac Cartel and his new remix of Santigold's L.E.S Artistes, which was a huge favourite of mine from the festival season last summer. The remix is the second in a 6 part series of free 320k downloads aptly titled Weapons of Choice. The Zod himself has assured me that it was worth it's weight in gold and I wasn't disappointed upon hearing it. The luscious vocals have been given an electro-house make-over accompanied by a delicious array of acid'y synths and sweeping white's. My personal favourite sound is a laser-ish stab that swims below the bassline, swinging to the beat and dancing on top of the sweeps. A fine attempt!

Calvin Harris - Ready For The Weekend (Fake Blood Remix)
The one man production super machine seems to be turning everything he touches into hot, sticky, red, rave-ridden blood. I've heard that he's finished a few new tracks for his next EP, which I hope will drop sometime this year, his DJ schedule so far this year has been ridiculous, but he deserves it! I just hope that new EP drops soon! Can't beat this remix for pure genius production though... "lick the Fake Blood from your finger" ;).

MSTRKRFT ft. John Legend - Heartbreaker (Laidback Luke Remix)
Laidback Luke seems to be on fire at the moment. A dazzling 2008 saw him release one of the biggest underground club tunes of the year in Shake It Down and unquestionably one of the biggest commercial club tunes of the year in Be, which cultimated in a re-release of the classic Show Me Love with Angello. Then along with remixes of Delirious, Dooms Night, Get Get Down, Fancy Footwork and my personal favourite of Surkin's timeless banger White Knight Two he continued to prove what a world class producer he is and this is definitely no exception that will surely propell help propell him into the super league of DJs.

Joris Voorn - Sweep The Floor
Going from strength to strength at the present time, the Dutch techno mystro fresh from his Balance 014 masterpiece drops this absolute bomb of a funky techno track. The vocals are so cut clean fresh, they make Umbongo look like a packed of ready salted crisps, tesco value crisps... and I apologise for that outburst of NME vocabulary. Get onto this sharpish though and as ever, please support the artists!

Bonus Track:
The Freestylers vs. Eric Prydz - Pjanoo (Breaks Mix)
Here's kind of exclusive (that was dug up for me for a DJ friend by a very kind man on the Erol forum), in the form that it was never released as a digital download. This is a Vinyl rip and possibly the only mp3 version in the blogsphere. The original vinyl pressing is a white label, which actually bears the name 'Unknown Artist vs. Eric Prydz'. However, my own knowledge told me this was definitely Freestylers mix that came about around September last year of possibly the biggest big room club tune of 2008. Enjoy :).
