Weekly News

Not had a Weekly News section for a little while and one is much needed. Got some top mixes for you this week, some sexual news about Radio 1, some sexual news about an old man who has a secred fetish for Drop The Lime, and some very very very perculiar news in the form of a Hotel that lets out tents for a night.

First up is the Brooklyn Bass master they call AC Slater. Slater had recently, gone off the radar a little bit as far as productions and remixes go, however, he's come back stronger than ever with a brand new mix full of juicy bass biscuits just for you. 23 tunes in just over 32 minutes, means a running time of just over one minute per tune... not bad!
The net has become awash with overhyped electro synth madness in my opinion of late, so it's a breath of fresh air for me to hear such a delicious array of beats and madness.
I really hope this dude makes it over the pond at least once more this year. Fabric you owe it to us all to book him and Drop The Lime for your 10th Birthday weekend... please, make it happen!

Some more juicy action for you now with the Trouble & Bass dynamo, Drop The Lime who of late has been putting the finishing touches to his live band, who recently played at Dark Disco in the Park in Central Park, New York to dazzling effect. T&B recently posted up a couple of videos of the event on their blog which you can catch below, including one of a very very excited 'young' chap :).

New Paul White News

Yep, another of our super-limited white label 7"s. Hand-stamped and individually numbered from 1 to 299*. It's a classic double-sider: 'Versus The BBC's slow, snarling, stomp drags you into Paul's psychedelic swamp and 'So Far Away' lets you float out again, a melancholic love-lorn gem that seems custom fit for the end of summer.
A-side 'Versus The BBC' is vinyl only but we're giving away the other track for free: grab 'So Far Away'by clicking here.
