Friday 19th January
Big Chill Presents Radioclit (LDN)

Tropical house + pop dons Radioclit are joined by Night Slugs fam Greena + Girl Unit, UK Funky maestro Doc Daneeka (Fabric) and Oliver Rant, who rolls in the same circles as Julio Bashmore in Bristol.

We're big fans of Hessle Audio here at SB, they do things proper, and all 3 of the label bosses (Rama, Ufo and Pangaea) really know how to lay down a proper DJ set. They're joined by Ikonika ahead of her upcoming long player for Kode 9's Hyperdub imprint, with support from Bruk (whose warmup mix can be found in our Mix Monday post here. Ignore the room 1 & 2 lineps, all about room 3 this time.

Who: Breakage, Shy FX, Redlight, Newham Generals live PA of 'Hard'
Drum and bass and dubstep producer Breakage debuts tracks off his new album 'Foundation', which contains guest appearances from Burial and Newham Generals. Jungle producer Shy FX is joined by Redlight, a new name on the crack house scene.

Jay was an early figurehead of reggae in the UK, his Good Times Soundsystem is legendary. Alongside Giles Peterson he pioneered acid jazz.

Cyberdance records label chief brings his own brand of italo, expect anything Egyptian Lover to Metro Area or Richie Hawtin to Chicken Lips.

The quality of a Foals DJ set can be proven by the remixers the band has chosen for their new single - Mount Kimbie, Cosmin TRG & Deadboy.

UK Funky main man Roska's upcoming LP is a very exciting prospect, and his sets are no less so - joining him is Blunted Robots' Brackles, whose sets are not one to miss. Mosca is another member of the Night Slugs fam doing it big these days - his Square One EP launched the Night Slugs label and his sets are a melting pot of bmore, ghettotech, 2step, UK funky, juke and all things bassy.
Sunday 21st February
Bloggers Delight present Simian Mobile Disco (LDN)

Simian Mobile Disco, having just curated a night at Matter, play an exclusive DJ set in this unbelievably intimate setting - expect disco, techno, house and all things in between. Rinse FM DJ Steve Braiden provides support, make sure you check out Steve's Detroit techno mix for an idea of what to expect, although a whole lot more than just Detroit sounds will be on offer. Amazing lineup for the top room of a North London boozer!
