So to ring in their 2nd birthday, the Pipedown boys are taking over both rooms at the Rhythm Factory on Wed 31st March. Joining them are the Keysound team - Keysound is the label run by Martin Clark aka Blackdown, one of the longest running and most intelligently written dubstep and grime blogs.
So on the night the Pipedown residents are joined by Blackdown & Dusk (Rinse FM, Blackdown), LHF and Kowton. The LHF productions that I've heard on the Blackdown blog and on his Rinse show has to be some of the most exciting new music I've heard in quite some time - and this rare DJ appearance from them is not one to be slept on. I've never been able to obtain much information on the LHF crew - but their productions sound absolutely out of this world, like nothing else that is being produced at the moment.
